Many things have changed about our annual CT symposium over the years, but the one thing that’s remained consistent is the caliber of our faculty for the event. We have been incredibly privileged over the years to have an extensive faculty of the top imaging experts who have helped us to establish our symposium as one of the most innovative computed tomography meetings in the world, and this year is no exception. The ISCT symposium has a rich history and a long-standing reputation for being one of the most innovative and comprehensive symposia of CT available. What makes this CT conference so unique is its caliber of faculty, the scope of the topics covered, and its commitment to diving deeply into not just current implementations of CT technology and protocols, but future advancements as well.

This week we were excited to release an initial draft of our 2019 program, complete with our 10 overarching sessions and their corresponding talks. We’re still in the early stages, so there’s a lot more to come as we tweak our talks and finalize speakers for each slot, but we couldn’t help but release an early look at what’s on the lineup for ISCT 2019! Here’s a look at our overarching session topics for the 2019 symposium:

ISCT’s annual symposium is a comprehensive computed tomography conference built year over year to be the most actionable, important, and lively event in CT. This year’s symposium will mark 21 years of collaboration and innovation for our organization since the introduction of multi-row CT. Join radiologists, physicists, technologists, residents, and practice administrators from across the globe for three and a half disruptive days of technical learning as we cover practical multi-spectral CT techniques and applications for clinical practice in 2019.

The first place to start and the easiest place to get buy-in for a more collaborative work process is within your radiology department. In your day-to-day experiences, it might not be as easy to see how very interlaced your team needs to become. To put this whole “CT as a Team Sport” concept into perspective for you, we drew some comparisons between your computed tomography radiology team and the most epic team in all of the galaxy.

As we plan for ISCT 2019, we can’t help but take a moment to reflect on years past. Every year for the past 21 years we have been thrilled to see how our symposium continues to evolve. From the caliber of faculty presenting to the scope and breadth of topics covered, year after year the ISCT symposium grows and changes. For a symposium focused on computed tomography, though, that shouldn’t be too surprising.
