Beverly Newman, B.Sc., MB, BCh, FACR

Beverley Newman B.Sc. MB. BCh. FACR is Associate Chief of Pediatric Radiology at Lucile Packard Children’sHospital and Professor of Radiology at Stanford University. Dr. Newman has authored more than 75 peer reviewed articles, 31 review articles and multiple book chapters on topics in pediatric radiology. She is the co-editor and author of multiple chapters in the recently published book, “Pearls and Pitfalls in Pediatric Radiology”. She has been the recipient of multiple awards and honors including editor’s reviewer recognition awards, appointment as Chief Pennsylvania delegate to the ACR and Fellowship of the American College of Radiology.

She has presented numerous scientific papers at national meetings, is a frequent faculty invitee to  CME courses and as a guest lecturer/ visiting professor. Her particular areas of interest are newborn, chest and cardiac imaging in children as well as radiation dose reduction. She has been an active reviewer for multiple radiology journals and is a co-editor of the chest section for Pediatric Radiology. Dr. Newman has served on multiple committees at the medical school, hospital and university level as well as been actively involved in numerous professional organizations.
