Assistant Chief Medical Information Officer for Advanced Technologies | Massachusetts General Hospital

Serving as Chief Medical Officer of Q, a venture-backed digital health company (Founders Fund and Andreessen Horowitz) building technology that quantifies, digitizes, and simulates human physiology.

Co-founder of CredSimple, a ventured backed healthcare technology platform that digitizes and automates the currently labor-intensive and manual processes of medical credentialing and provider data management. CredSimple improves the verification process through better technology and query of practitioner primary source data.

Most recently Assistant Chief Medical Information Officer for Advanced Technologies at Massachusetts General Physicians Organization at MGH. Currently focused on quality improvement and health IT - managing applications for a data analytics platform and developing a web-based learning platform for physicians. Clinical interests are focused on cardiothoracic, abdominal, and emergency imaging. Additional interests include applying technology and quality improvement strategies in telemedicine and global health.

Also an active faculty member teaching at Harvard Medical School and Harvard College. Received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, a Masters of Science in Operations Research/Economic-Engineering Systems from Stanford University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University. Completed medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine as well as Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Mass General Hospital.
