Stefanie Weinstein, MD, is the Assistant Residency Program Director and an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Weinstein received her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, New York in 2000, and completed her radiology residency at Stanford University Medical Center, California in 2005. In 2006, she completed a fellowship in Body Imaging at Stanford University Medical Center. She joined the Abdominal Imaging section at UCSF and the VAMC in 2009.

Dr. Weinstein specializes in bowel imaging in the Abdominal Imaging section, and ultrasound-guided procedures and contrast-enhance ultrasound in the Ultrasound section at UCSF. Dr. Weinstein has begun to build a practice performing ultrasound guided procedures on a variety of soft tissue lesions and tumors. She is involved in patient consultation and formation of treatment plans in collaboration with surgeons and oncologists.

Dr. Weinstein is a fellow of the Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR) and Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU). Dr. Weinstein serves as a member of the Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists, Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound, and the Association of University Radiologists (AUR). She also served as Moderator of the RSNA 2012: Colorectal Imaging panel.
