The Official ISCT16 Checklist

We’re just one weekend away from ISCT16, which means it’s time to get serious. There’s always a lot going on pre-conference. You’re scrambling to pack, trying to tie up all your loose ends at work, double-checking your flights and freaking out about that one thing you know you forgot. We understand that there’s a lot to remember, and chances are there’s some detail about the trip that you’ve already forgotten.

Don’t get caught unprepared this year. We’ve created a last-minute checklist for ISCT16 to help attendees make sure that they’re crossing everything off the list and will have everything in order for this year’s conference! Before you head to San Francisco, make sure you’ve done all of the following things.

Make sure you’re actually registered.

The first step to enjoying ISCT16 is getting there. If you haven’t officially registered for ISCT16 yet, it’s still not too late! You can register online and still make it to this year’s best and biggest CT conference.

Double-check your flight and transportation details.

It’s always better to be safe than sorry. Make sure you’ve got everything squared away ahead of time—check regularly for flight changes or possible delays, and keep your eye on the weather so you can make travel changes if necessary.

Finalize your hotel.

Whether your plan to “stay with a friend” fell through or you simple didn’t have time to deal with the stress of picking a hotel earlier, you may find yourself cramming last minute to make your hotel reservations. If you can, try to get a room at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, since that’s where the conference is taking place. All booked? Don’t worry, there are tons of hotels within walking distance that will work just as well!

We cannot stress the importance of this. This year’s app is up and running, and it’s a treasure trove of information for everything ISCT16, from updates to session topics/times to inter-attendee communication. You can upload your conference photos directly to the app, create social media posts, and even directly connect with other attendees. It’s especially helpful in keeping you in the loop, since any last minute changes or updates will be sent out on the app.

Create your customized itinerary.

With so many sessions available at this year’s conference, this is an absolute must. Take some time to look over our Program Guide and determine which sessions you want to attend this year. Make an itinerary with the dates and times so you have your whole lineup in place and know your plan of attack!

Familiarize yourself with the area.

Even though we’ll be in the Embarcadero Center for most of the week, it’s still important to familiarize yourself with the areas nearby the hotel. You’ll want to check out the hot dinner spots and maybe even find a few places in case you have time to squeeze in some tourist activities.
