Dushyant V. Sahani, M.D., is Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Director of Computed Tomography at Massachusetts General Hospital, both in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Sahani is a board certified radiologist and fellowship trained in abdominal imaging and intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Imaging of the liver, biliary and pancreas has been the focus of his research and clinical work. He is currently involved in investigating tumor angiogenesis and response to novel cancer treatment methods with CT, MRI and PET.

Dr. Sahani has contributed over 230 original articles and reviews to medical literature, numerous book chapters, as well as, the author of two textbooks.  His work has appeared in journals such as: the New England Journal of Medicine, Nature Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Clinical Gastrointestinal Radiology and Hepatology, Radiology, American Journal of Radiology, Annals of Surgery, Investigative Radiology, and European Journal of Radiology.  He has delivered over 200 lectures nationally and internationally.  Dr. Sahani also provides medical education to residents, fellows, and HMS students.  In addition, he has been a visiting professor at numerous universities in the United States and abroad.  Dr Sahani is also a fellow member of all leading radiology societies including: ACR, ARRS, CMR, ESGR, NERRS, RSNA, SCBT-MR, and SGR.  Currently, Dr. Sahani serves as a member of the Board of Directors for SCBT-MR.
