Aaron Sodickson, MD
Aaron Sodickson, MD, PhD is the chief of Emergency Radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, the medical director of CT for the Brigham Radiology Network, and an Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. He is principal investigator of a National Library of Medicine R01 to develop informatics tools that extract radiation exposure information from sources in the electronic medical record, and to explore their use for patient safety and quality improvement purposes. His related clinical and research efforts involve CT dose monitoring and quality control, CT technology assessment, dose-optimization of CT protocols, and approaches to reduce unnecessary imaging.
